Roman Live at D6Bels on Stage

Since 2004, D6Bels (pronounced Decibels) has been one of the few TV programs in Belgium presenting news and live performances from Belgian and international artists. The show has recently been redesigned and now features a monthly live edition in front of a studio audience.

Roman was invited to perform at the premiere of the show’s new live edition alongside Léopold Nord/Jean-Pierre Mader, Suarez, and Claire Denamur. Other guests include Marc Ysaye of Classic 21, Serge Mpata, and Sylvestre Defontaine.

We’re hoping to receive RTBF-Sat syndication dates in the coming days.

Les Octaves de la Musique

The Octaves de la Musique, modeled after France’s Victoires de la Musique, are the Francophone-Belgian equivalent of the Grammy awards.

The sixth edition was held on June 18, 2009 at the Soignies Cultural Center where several rewards were distributed to artists in various styles.

In addition to the ceremony, the show featured Roman’s first televised rendition of Any Place But Home single ‘Rider’.

The show was broadcast live on every local francophone TV station in the country. It also made the news on RTL TVI, and was re-aired on Belgium’s first francophone radio, BelRTL.

Roman - Live at the AB Club

Moodio.tv, a growing reference in the online promotion of the Belgian music scene has recently posted the feature they filmed backstage at Roman’s AB Club (Ancienne Belgique) solo show.

Roman+Band at Taratata

Last night was the first France 4 airing of Roman’s performance of ‘Jerry Springer’ on Taratata, Nagui’s musical TV show.

Now running for over 15 years, Nagui’s Taratata is widely recognized at the most prestigious of musical shows in France. Comparable to Jools Holland in the UK, Taratata has staged some of the most prestigious live artists on a monthly basis throughout the years since its initial launch in 1993.
